CALL FOR AVAILABILITY Ahhhh…. The power of womanhood. She’ refined, she’s independent, she’s strong…………... and with her thoughts on the coming weekend, she’s ...DAYDREAMING.
SOLD A mischievous look in her eye….. a smile crosses her lips. Outward beauty combined with inner strength forms the quiet sensuality of this woman called CHEYENNE.
SOLD You realize you’ve had her for a long time when you start thinking of the offspring she’s produced……. You look out back and see the sorrel you usually ride… and little Tommy’s bay, …as well as the two you just couldn’t bring yourself to sell, even though you never got them past green-broke……. Yeah,..her age is showin’ a little …………..but you’re still PARTNERS.
SOLD PRINTS AVAILABLE Some people think ranch life is a lonely, solitary life……. Yeah….. you may live several miles from your nearest neighbor….. and you may not get to town more than once or twice a month. But many ranchers know that you are never really lonely as long as you are spending time with your BEST FRIENDS.
SOLD Life for the homesteaders was hard and often dangerous,….. especially for the women. Sometimes a woman’s marksmanship would save the lives of her family. When a new couple came to the prairie, it was imperative that a woman would learn about guns, marksmanship, and be comfortable enough to practice THE LESSON.
SOLD A good wife is the best asset a rancher can have… No matter how grumpy you are, she’s always willing to help. Well… usually…. Yeah…. she’d probably been out here ten minutes ago if I’d just kept my mouth shut at breakfast…. HOPE SHE’S NOT TOO MAD.
SOLD Remember when you were a little girl and you were always saying “Daddy, can I go with you?” You always had so much to talk about… even though you did most of the talking. Somehow you don’t quite think he believed everything you told him. Sometimes he would smile and give you that “Are you sure?” look…… NO…. REALLY DADDY!
SOLD Prints Available Remember when you were a little girl and you were always sayin’ “Daddy, I want to be a cowgirl and run the barrels just like mommy”? You wore out the springs on that rockin’ horse… and you “rode” that stick horse everywhere you went. Remember the first time you found a bucket and climbed up on your mom’s horse? She almost skinned you alive….Yeah… your mom was always sayin’ “She’s just TOO BIG FOR HER BRITCHES”.
SOLD Ranchers that have a cow/calf operation usually put in long hours……often they’re up well before daylight and come in after dark. On a really long day when you’re dog-tired, the thought might cross your mind…. Guess mom and dad were right…. I probably SHOULDA’ BEEN A LAWYER. Then you look around……Naaaah!
SOLD She’s up before dawn and saddled by daybreak. When a stretch of fence is down, she doesn’t call some “guy” to take care of it. And there’s not a broken down windmill yet she couldn’t fix. But when a bunch gets together to move cattle, somebody will “unthinkingly” call her something other than her name. You learn real fast not to do that again when you get that look of ……DON’T CALL ME HONEY.
SOLD There’s an old saying……. Good fences make good neighbors. It’s a good thing also when you like and respect each other… knowing you can count on one another to help out with working calves and branding. When you have that bond, you know you can seal a sale of that bull with a hand shake. Yup…….. A DEAL’S DONE.
SOLD Your brother-in-law told you about him…., and his papers looked good. Yeah, you thought he was probably worth every penny. Well…. today you’re not so sure….You’ve been workin’ with him for a while now…. kinda getting to know each other…. Things were going along great until yesterday… and he came unglued… Well…, today’s another day… and there’s NO MORE SWEET TALKIN’.
SOLD Prints Available Another government holiday… Yeah….. That calving heifer can wait till Tuesday….. and there’s no need to fix that windmill today… Those steers have been out of water only a day…. And that sagging stretch of fence probably will hold up a few more days. Yeah, right! On a ranch this is NO LEGAL HOLIDAY.
SOLD AHHH… I’ve been huntin’ him all week. Yesterday I saw him down by the creek and he flat out-ran the horse I was riding. But today’s a different story and now I GOTCHA.
SOLD You’ve been riding most of the afternoon hunting for these calves that wasn’t with the rest of the herd when you saw them this morning. You’re sure glad the dog came with you. It makes you chuckle when he starts working and gets EYE TO EYE.
SOLD Ranchers that have a cow/calf operation always look forward to spring….the winter feeding is done and a new calf crop is on the way. Those spring showers make the grass green up and start to grow. It’s long hours and lots of miles in the saddle CHECKIN’ THE BRAND.
